At Ebenezer Pentecostal Church (EPC), we consider ourselves as a family and we welcome everyone regardless of caste, creed and culture. God loves everyone and we as His body wants you to be a part of EPC family. Just as a non-member cannot become involved in the matters of the family, a non-member of the church will not be able to be involved in the affairs and decision making of the church.

The term "church membership" to some may evoke strange ideas and feelings. Nevertheless, by God's design, being a member with a local church family is simple, meaningful, and empowering.  A quick glance through the Bible, we find God intends His children to be connected wholeheartedly to a local church so that they can be encouraged, equipped and mobilized for His divine purposes (Hebrews 10:25, Ephesians 4:11-16).  Your decision to become a member of a local church is an important decision and indeed mutually benefits you and the larger church family.

We view church membership with sincerity and simplicity.  Joining Ebenezer Pentecostal Church as a member is like joining a family.  Like in a marriage, the bride and groom commit to each other as they become one family, commitments are a natural and critical element of joining a local church.  Ebenezer Pentecostal Church’s leadership is committed to accepting, equipping, and mobilizing our members in the plan that God has for each person and each family. We are also committed to lead our church family as a whole into God's purpose.

Your membership is another way of affirmation that you are a committed member of the EPC family. Further, as a registered charity organisation, we are required to keep details of all our active members and periodically update their details. As well, being a Church entity, we might require issue letters or supporting documents towards Immigration NZ or other concerned bodies for you. While doing so we are legally deemed to provide such services only to our registered members and provide references if required. To ensure we provide you all such services without any barriers, it would be helpful to have your continued membership.

Accept | EQUIP | SEND

Our vision at Ebenezer Pentecostal Church is to Accept, Equip and Send people to do God’s work. As a church, we want to accept people from all walks of life and equip them to do God’s work effectively and send them to do God's ministry. We take the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20) seriously and we want you to be a part of it.

Being engaged in the Vision and Mission of the church wholeheartedly through accepting and respecting one another in Christ, using every opportunity to grow spiritually and actively engage in various ministry opportunities to be fruitful in God's kingdom.

Become regularly involved and active in the Church (e.g. worship services, cell groups, volunteer opportunities, etc.) using your skills, knowledge, and gifts according to the church vision.  A member should be obedient to the church authorities, church Pastor and committed to the shared vision of the church.

As true christian's it our responsibility to pray for those people who has not yet met the Lord Jesus Christ and actively share gospel with them. we also need to Pray for Ebenezer Pentecostal Church family members, its leadership, and all the ministries the church is engaged in, similarly we need to pray for our nation and its welfare.

Financially support the church through tithing and offerings regularly, knowing that it is a privilege, joy, and act of obedience to the Lord (Malachi 3:8-12). Similarly contribute your skills, knowledge, time and other valuable resources for the expansion of God's kingdom.
